Can I use human clippers or should I wait to buy cat clippers from Dollar Tree?

The cat clippers are the same ones this lady uses:

Yes, buy the scissor like cat ones. But don’t buy them from the dollar store. Buy good quality ones that are nice and sharp so it makes clean snips. You don’t want to end up with ragged bunny nails.

I agree that it is worth spending the money to buy good quality cat clippers. If your bunny nails are chipped or a clean cut is not made, they can easily catch on things which can cause nail and/or toe injury.

I spent about $10 on mine and they are the scissor like ones. You don’t want the $2-$3 version, they become dull quickly and then it begins to tug on the nail, which freaks out bun even worse and causes a bad clip. Also, the handles are cheaper and will break easier under normal wear. You only have to buy them once every few years (if that) so the investment is well worth it.
