I think the best thing to do is trying to be more stubborn than him … Most of the time, it’s impossible to find something that will stop them from destroying. Then the only thing is education, but I know it can be extremely hard sometimes.

Maybe try spraying the couch with perfume, I do this with my curtains (refreshing them with more spray every couple weeks) and the bunnies will not touch them. Safe distractions are also good to try, if you see him trying to chew your couch try to redirect him. Also you can say “no” firmly or spray him with a tiny bit of water.

I agree about spraying, but I don’t like the perfume solution many sites recommend. He’s going to chew more, and i worry about toxicity of some perfumes. My favorite is a mixture of white vinegar and water sprayed on the couch which will smell badly to him but dissipate in the air so it won’t bother you.
Then say a firm NO! and possibly direct him away from it.

Sometimes they do it on purpose and know they are being naughty. Then you can put him in his house or another room to distract him.

You can buy something called “Bitter Apple Spray” and spray it on things you don’t want the bunny to chew. For a distraction I have heard of people putting marbles in a can and shaking it when the do something they are not supposed to do.

i usually clap and say no when wes is nibbling on something he isn’t supposed to. sometimes i have to do it a few times, but after a while he gets annoyed/distracted and moves along.

Have you thought about the corner guards they sell for cats ? I usually just tell my buns “no” and if they don’t listen, lightly thump at them and they stop. On a few things I have crinkly industrial paper (you know, like they make brown paper bags out of?) cause while they like to dig/chew it if it’s on the ground, if they brush against it and it makes a noise they are like “AH! MONSTER!” and won’t go near the spot. lol

I got PVC corner beads cut to length at the hardware store and stuck them on with poster putty to protect all my cabinets because I’m in an apartment. You might try that for the couch, too. Maybe a bullnose shape, depending on the couch?
                            They look like this:

Cheddar did this and ruined my couches. I put double sided tape on the edges and he stopped.
