i am almost always in my room playing on the computer or ipod. but i’ve noticed that whenever i come in my room (and my rabbit is asleep) he will wake up and and not go back to sleep? he will just groom himself and just sit there doing nothing 0.o… and whenever i leave and come back he will go back to sleep. what should i do? i can take my computer out of my room so it isnt a big deal. i dont want to disrupt his sleep… he isnt begging to come out of his cage but he just sort of sits on the top shelf doing nothing and then starts to groom himself and then does nothing again and etc. should i leave my room so he can get some rest?

If I left the room whenever one of my bunnies was sleeping, i’d never get to be in the room.

          He’s fine.

A lot of that staring is him sleeping, they often sleep with their eyes open.

Give him some time, eventually he’ll trust you and just crash out. Or still maybe not. Samson likes to hide when she sleeps, Lady passes out whereever.

It’s important he get used to your normal activities, so i wouldn’t change anything you do.

Heehee my rabbits STARE at me while they are sleeping. Stalker buns. Your bunny should get used to you. Just wait until the moment when he suddenly dramatically throws himself onto his back and you think he just died, but he’s really just sleeping lol

Yeah, It won’t bother him. You may wake him up but “staring” may just be him sleeping. Nava is housed in my room and me, the dogs, the noisy mice and my rats are all in my room a lot, and she doesnt mind.

Last night, I took a nap at 6 pm. I still have my cold, and I like to sleep plenty when I am sick.

So I turned off the lights in the living room, and slept on the couch. When I woke up, I saw that little Chacha was all laid out on the floor (with her chin on the floor as well) sleeping too!
