QUICK! (not important though) what color xpen should i get?

  i decided to get a 42″ high one. with panels that are 28″ wide. which color should i get? blue, pink, or black? my rabbits cage is an XL dog crate and it is black. all are the same price

  It doesn’t matter, black is nice because it’s neutral and in this case, it would match your dog crate.

  would blue be okay? cause thats what i got ._. i only got it because i dont see a lot of colored xpens, so i just wanted it to be “unique”. but now that i think about it.. it may seem tacky.. eh oh well! its just an xpen right?

  ebay. search 42″ exercise pens and some where down the list you should see best pets exercise pens. they have them up to 48″ and the panels are 28″ wide instead of the usual 24″ (or so they said). i got it from one of the best sellers.

  Mine are gold as well. Might switch to silver sometime down the road when the boys get bonded. I prefer silver to any of the other colors.

  The only thing I’d worry about the colored ones is it chipping off if they chew at it. Its it acrlocked like the midwest pens?

  hm… not sure about that sam. its made out of the same material as the black “paint” on a dog crate, and normal black xpens.. i think.. not sure.. its from the brand best pets so i might have to look at that!
  and haha i got blue! i was sort of hesitant since pink is my favorite color but i have a boy bunny ha

  Wow, colored xpens. That’s neat, I’ve never seen those before. I had the same concern that S&LHuman had about the paint. Since bunnies can be chewers of xpen, I don’t know if that would be a problem or not. You will have to watch it and you could also call the manufacture. I don’t think anyone makes lead based paint anymore (I would think especially not for an animal based product) but it would be good to know more details.
