My dad somehow ‘found’ or was given this Louis Vuitton handbag.

It’s a bit old, has no handles anymore, has a suede interior and says ‘made in France’.

I’m not sure if it’s real or not (nor do I care), but either way, i’m still planning to create it into a bunny carrier if that is acceptable.

The sides are low enough for Penny to stick her head through to peek and If I do some sewing and altering, I can make a harness clip and add straps.

        What do you think?

If anyone wants, i’ll post a pic of the bag.

I have something like that I got for 5 dollars at a thrift shop. It was actually a baby bag, but I turned it into a bunny carrier. I don’t see why not you can’t turn it into a carrier. Just make sure it is comfortable and won’t stress your bunny out.

Might want to cut some cardboard pieces to fit snugly in the bottom make it firm (and replaceable with fresh ones if peed on), since soft carriers are a bit hard for a bunny to deal with. Make sure there’s air flow, but not big enough to jump out the top or sides. Could add a mesh screen piece to the outside for a view and air but no risk of squeezing through. (bunnies stretch so if their head can fit through an opening usually the rest of them can, too.) Nothing edible (turn it insside out completely) and test it to see if Penny nibbles the suede, which is not good at all.

Well, it may work now but what about when she’s fully grown?

I would recommend a hard sided carrier that has a top opening. Safer and easier to clean. And you can secure it in the car with a seat belt.

If you DO make it into a bunny carrier, don’t add a clip that you clip your bunny’s harness to. they need to be able to move around freely in the carrier.

Sounds super cool! If you are going to do any altering, I’d to a netting type material zipper close on top-that way you can zip her in securely, just like any other soft carrier
