Hello!

We are newish bunny people here, having adopted two buns in the past few months. I had bunnies when i was growing up but I am really loving having them as an adult, though also realising my childhood buns could have had a lot better care  Its been a very interesting learning experience!

This is Snowy. We got him from our local shelter, his story is that his previous owners left him in a cage in their back yard when they moved away  The neighbors found  him, tried to keep him but ended up bringing him to the shelter when it didnt work out (they had a young child who was not very gentle apparently) He was at the shelter for 9 months! He is only about a year and a half old, so he basically grew up there. Amazingly, he is the most gentle bun you ever met, just sweet as pie and a real cuddler. I cannot understand why he went for so long without being adopted, I can only think he was just waiting for us to come along!

This is Toshi

We wanted to find Snowy a friend and the same shelter happened to get this little guy soon after we brought Snowy home. We knew that two males, even neutered, were a risky endeavor, and when we brought Snowy the first time to meet Toshi they were all about showing who was boss, tussling and humping! eeep. But we had fallen in love with this guy so didnt give up right away, and the second time we brought Snowy they actually didnt fight. The shelter was kind enough to let us take Toshi home on a trial to see if they would bond, even though they were pretty pessimistic about it! Well this is them that first night:

It was pretty amazing actually! They have been best of buddies ever since, they cuddle and wash and binky all over together Needless to say our trial run was very short

Toshi is not yet a year, and is in that extra frisky adolescent stage. I thought kittens were trouble, holy moley. This boy will keep you hopping trying to keep him out of trouble! But he is friendly and sweet and binkies as high as my heart

They share the home with two guinea pigs, two cats, two fish, two hermies, and a blue fronted conure. The one cat is 18 years old so pays no attention to them, the younger one is curious as heck but also quite scared of them, Toshi will come charging up to her to say HELLOWANNAPLAY??!? and she is OUTTA there like a  flash! It is pretty hilarious! And its a very peaceable kingdom

 Welcome to BB!

Your Bunnies are so adorable!

I love their stories. And I and probably some other people too, would just like to say... THANK-YOU!

I have a love for not just bunnies but all animals.

I know how many bunnies and other animals are in shelters, and we probably all wish we could help them all.

I just wanted to say even If you adopt 2 bunnies, like you did, or you adopt 200 bunnies, you are making a difference.

So again, I just wanted to say thank-you not just to you but to all the people who adopted bunny(s) from shelters.

Here's a pic of my year old French Lop, Midnight.
