Hello bunny lovers! I have a question about hay. We have been feeding Timothy but am finding it hard to access large quantities of it at the moment, and the bags they sell at the stores are quite pricey for how much we go through. I found someone who can sell me a bale of mixed hays and some of these I havent even heard of, am wondering if some knowledgeable person knows if these are good or bad for the buns? (I would also be feeding this to guinea pigs)

Its a mixture of clover, orchard, junegrass, Timothy and a little brome – what the heck is brome?

Any help would be much appreciated!

          Welome.

That is perfectly fine as long as your bunny will eat it. As long as the hays are grass hays and these are, it’s perfectly fine.

Brome is a type of grass hay.

You’ll probably find that your bunny will enjoy the hay mix more, more yummy variety

oh thats good! Just wanted to make sure they were getting the fibre they need and not something that would be bad for them! We also use it for bedding so being able to buy a whole bale at a time will be good, and it is sooo cheap I cant believe it.
