I just ordered two custom sized “bunny blankies” made of fleece from a wonderful lady who makes blankets for bunnies, and she said she just finished them tonight and is going to send them tomorrow… but, she said she has pnuemonia. I’m going to wash them when I get them most likely but I’m still really not sure when the best time would be to put them with my babies. I am aware of Snuffles/pasteurella but not sure how it really works between humans a nd buns.

Pneumonia can be caused by bacteria, virus or aspiration-those are the three causes I know. So if it was bacterial, then there might be a slight possibilty. Viral-usually viruses are specific to the host, and aspiration is not the case So I think a wash and then don’t worry about it-and that would be leaning on the better safe than sorry side Probably not necessary at all.
