Basically, my rabbit has been ok for the whole day, but right now he hasn’t been moving or eating + drinking..I tried feeing him things he likes but he refuses. He does move, but only to move to a different spot to lay down. All he does now is lie down…he doesn’t eat or move from that spot…and the vet is closed, planning to take him tomorrow. Anyone know whats wrong or guesses for now? Thanks

              How is your bun now?

If he hasn’t improved since you posted I would call your vet and get professional advice.

I hope he is better. Let us know how he is.

Look for your vet online and if they have a website, email your vet to say you will be there when she opens because you may have an emergency and would appreciate it if she would squeeze you in. You can also call to leave the message with her answering service, and your phone number (cell that you take with you) in case she calls you right back.

Then find out the time her office opens and be there with him. Be prepared to leave him for them to look at him later between appointments to determine if he is in serious distress or not. If not, they can call you to pick him up and pay for the brief exam and any advice you need to take care of him.

Unless he has finally eaten, in which case, call the vet’s office instead to let her know you are concerned and watch to see if he has normal poop. Give him hay, not treats, and fresh water.

You must go to the veterinary as quick as you can if your rabbit didn’t eat since you posted, because it clearly is a problem of the digestive system which has to be taken seriously and the earliest will be the best. Give us some news !
