West did not eat her pellets, baby carrot, or sprig of cilantro last night.  Hay looks untouched as well.  No new poo piles, but there was more pee.  It's been almost 10 hours since I fed her last night.  She was acting normal yesterday, eating and pooping normally.

What should I do?  Belly rubs make her nervous, I tried.  I don't want to stress her out, she wants to just sit in her house.  No labored breathing, teeth grinding, she's acting normal.

EDIT; West is now eating and pooping normally. PHEW!  BIG sigh of relief!  Thanks so much for your help guys.

Can you get her moving? I would try that to see if how she acts. Also most vets will recommend getting them moving if you suspect gut stasis.

I can move her out into the living room, but it might stress her out.  Do you think I should do that?  I have the baby antigas med too, should I give some?

You want to get her to move, if she is able to move around the living room that would be good.

The simethicone wouldn't hurt, if you have go ahead and try it.

It could be a bit of a stress reaction from going to the vet...

Mine sometimes are low key and no appetite after that.

Will she allow you to pet her when she's got all feet on the ground? I wonder if she's lying down if you could run your hands down her sides and give a bit of massage that way. When Jerseys uncomfortable in the gut she allows me to run my hands down her sides this way. I think it must give some relief.

Another thing to try if it doesn't stress her too much, is bring Zeus into her view and offer both of them something to eat. Theres a chance she might want to try something after seeing him eating.

In the living room, gave her antigas meds, I think moving around in the room is helping.  Small pile of 4 poops.  Not dry or mucusy, normal poops.

Thanks jersey. .

It's so hard with a new bun, I don't quite know what's normal for her yet.  She's definitely brightened up since I brought her out though, and it's been about 1/2 hour now since I gave the antigas meds.

It's true too that it may be stress related or just fatigue after a day at the vet and a change in her normal routine - she has some major changes in the past week so she probably is a bit fatigued.

Glad that she is active and pooping.

Yeah I can definitely see that, the vet was stressful for her.  How long should I wait for her to start eating before I worry?  We're acting normal, she's grooming herself right now, and now at least we're pooping.

Well I guess I should've been more specific when I told her she needs to eat.. she's eating one of my wicker storage baskets.

Yeah, it's the same in horses, no poop is a big deal.. so people will wish sick horses a "visit from the Poop Fairy". .

She's eating pellets, hay, and her morning carrot.  Totally back to normal. .
