That costs about 3 bucks more than 5lbs of oxbow…

ETA and nearly the same price as a 10lb bag of oxbow-http://www.drsfostersmith.com/product/prod_display.cfm?pcatid=16618&cmpid=08cseaz&ref=4144&subref=AA

I don’t see anything really bad about it, it is a little less fiber than oxbow, but nothing in the ingredients stood out as bad for buns. Never heard of the brand before though, so I can’t say anything about quality.

Prices vary S&L – at my petsmart it is $14 for one 5lb bag of oxbow and I believe the OP said it was the same price at their petsmart as well.

Oh I posted a link to Amazon If you are a student you get free Prime  = free 2 day shipping

Have either of you checked local pet stores? We have 2 around here, and they’ll compete with price which is fortunate

Ahh, wish I was still a student, shipping for me is like $20 unless I order $50+ of stuff, so I usually buy in 20lb increments. lol No local pet stores for me, so I just get my oxbow online… already have to travel 40 miles to get to a petsmart. o.O

It looks fine, just be sure the kind you buy is timothy and not alfalfa. If you do end up buying Mazuri the instructions on the back say to feed free choice but do not. Stick the amount you feed normally. How much do you feed?

Mazuri is fine. I used to get the chinchilla formula for my chinchillas before Oxbow was available around here. They carried it at the feed store and at Petsmart.

Oh…I may have wrote wrong, the oxbow where I am( bunnyfriend corrected me and pointed out they are not the same everywhere, which is a shame) and on dr fosters and smith is 3 dollars LESS than the Mazuri   Or a 10lb bag is 3 dollars more, which does save money in the long run. Sorry for the misunderstanding!

I’ve used exclusively mazuri with the adult rabbits that we take in, and both the rabbits and I like it, but unless you’re just buying for one or two buns, it’s pretty expensive compared to buying in bulk. When this bag gets close to running out we’re going to switch to buying oxbow in bulk (65 bucks for 50 pounds on Drsfosterandsmith vs. 11 dollars for 5 pounds of Mazuri at Petsmart).
