A week ago I let my little boy go with the help of my loving vet after a 3 week battle with illness. Riley will always be in my heart, and the heart of everyone who met him. He changed many peoples opinion on pet rabbits, and is greatly missed by his cat buddy Ralph. Even my vet hated having to admit defeat with a rabbit who was only 4 1/2 years old. Hopefully he's doing binkies, basking in the sun, and enjoying papaya treats now. Love you always Rilers.

Oh Molzy, I'm so sorry to hear that Riley has passed. It's always so incredibly hard to have to make that decision, but it is our last gift of love we can give our best friends. (((((((((((Hugs)))))))))))) That is a beautiful picture. Binky free Riley.

Thank you all for your kind words. I know I made the right decision for my baby, but I will always miss him. I donated his extra food and supplies to the local animal shelter yesterday, so hopefully they will be able to make the difference in another bunny's life. They had a cute little lionhead there, but I think Riley will always be my one and only bunny. The apartment looks empty without his giant NIC cage in the corner though. It's always nice to talk to other pet owners who understand how much they wiggle into your heart.

Im sorry to read Riley has passed. I wasn't aware he had been ill. Binky Free Riley! I think it's a great thing you've done in donating his things at this time. I hope your heart heals in time and the memories of him make you smile often.
