I’ve heard people saying that their rabbits love to play in snow? Is that true? I know that house rabbits can’t be out in too cold of temperatures, so how does that work out? If it’s something that’s safe, healthy, and possibly fun for my rabbits I’d love to do something like that with them

A lot of people will bring snow INSIDE for their buns by putting some clean snow in a litterbox or cardboard box. That way the bunny can hop in and dig or play in it! I tried it with Hazel, and all she did was eat a few bites, then ignored it. But I’d give it a try to see if your bun likes it.

Lots of people bring it inside and put it in a small dish or put a bunch in the bathtub, but if it is over 50F you can let them go outside. My bunnies love the snow! I haven’t ever brought snow inside though.

One of our members brought snow in for their bunny to play with.    The photos of their bunny with snow inside are in the Gallery,(https://binkybunny.com/Photos/tabid/80/Default.aspx&#160 in the Playtime section, starting at the 21st photo.

I brought some snow inside for Otto and Hannah once a year. They play with it for a couple minutes then lose interest. Haha They don’t enjoy going outside, so I haven’t taken them out in the snow.
