Hello everyone! I need some advice on a transporting problem I have. I frequently take my bunny Jewel from her cage to her playpen, which is only a few feet away. I use a cat carrier. But every time I quietly stick the carrier into her cage ( only about a foot into her 4 foot long cage ) she just sits there. She’ll eventually come and sniff all around the entrance, but just turns around and goes to SLEEP!! I’ve even tried treats! And every time I carry her she never is scared. What’s wrong and how can I fix it?

Have you tried putting hay or a treat in it?

Another option is to just attach the pen to the cage if you have the room to do that.

Is there a way to just attach the cage to the play pen at all times?

Stickers won’t go into a carrier unless it’s flat on the floor and I am miles away from it. If I need to pick her up without her trying to freak out on me (she hates being picked up), the litter box is actually useful. She’ll hop into it and lay down, then I can just put my hand on her to secure her so she won’t jump out and carry her that way. It’s how I carried her back and forth when I was bonding her with Powder.

okay. I’ll see if these help! Hopefully it won’t take me 20 minutes to get her there.

The litter box seemed to help the best! Thank you!
