          It varies.

Some will shed twice a year, some do light sheds, some do heavy sheds, etc

My bunny hasn’t shed in 2 months, and all of a sudden, I see loose fur sticking out.

Nava gradually sheds over the year. I brush her once a week, or as need be. Domino shed like mad every few months.

It is different for all rabbits.

2 of my buns do a gradual constant shed, the other 2 have regular full blow outs 4 times a year.

It really can vary. Generally they shed four times a year – two light and two heavy. One of mine does go through all four sheds, though my other just seems to go through two sheds a year (her light sheds are probably so light I barely notice). Sheds can last anywhere from a couple days to a couple weeks (sometimes they seem to go on forever).

The time of the year really varies for indoor rabbits since they don’t have the natural cues that an outside animal would have.
