If not, and he’s several months old now, then Stickerbunny means it’s his hormones acting up. He needs to be neutered right away. After that his good habits will return.

Meanwhile, make sure you clean out his litter pan more often. Put the poos and mop up the pee with a paper towel and set them asap back into his litter pan.

If he is going in other rooms, get extra pans in there so he doesn’t have to run all the way back to his main one. Just keep trying to get him to go to a litter pan when he needs to. Watch his tail and grab him if he starts to wiggle and place him in a pan if you can get to him in time.

My bunny was a perfect gentleman…used his litter box, had run of whole house except for couch (where he used to pee, now just marks with poop if I forgot to block it off). Peter is neutered and so is his fairly new girlfriend Patty and their habits are atrocious. Bunnies gone wild. They are no longer allowed in living room. She has been fixed only a couple of weeks so perhaps once the honeymoon is over things will settle down. They seem to competitively mark with poop every thing and quickly…even in their own room.

Well, when I just had Peter and he messed on the couch I would smell a fruit smell before. I blocked off couch for several months and he no longer pees there. I think it is good to go back to basics…smaller area, some in cage time, a few extra litter boxes. More eyes on and if he starts to make a mess, put him back in his area of box. Remember to tell him no firmly – Peter looks as if he is really trying to process what I say. He loves me too and wants to please.
