Last night I am on the couch and Momo hops up with me. She is still playing with me by stealing my glasses, and running around behind my head on the back of the couch. She is also allowing pets now when she is up there with me. But she just started doing this thing where she will flatten her nose out like she does for a forehead pet, and when I go to give her one, she pushes my hand away. And she keeps doing it. Is this a game she came up with, or am I getting signals mixed?

Also, she went crazy last night head butting me, digging at me and bitting my shirt. It has been a while since she did that last. I can’t figue out if this is also play, or if she is trying to bully me. She did bite me last night while trying to get my shirt, so I squealed at her and turned my back on her. She really did not seem to care…

My bunny also has weird “playing” behavior like that. I think he is just being a bully, or maybe since he is an only bun he treats me how he would another bunny? Mine also doesn’t care when I squeal or tell him no, he thinks its a game and runs around binkying then comes back and does whatever it was again.

Hannah loves to go for fabric and will accidentally nip skin. I yelp and she’s getting better – now she’ll dig at fabric and then look at me instead of going in for the nip; I think she remembers that nipping makes me squeal. Sometimes she does it to be bossy or for attention, but other times I think she’s doing it just for fun.

I don’t know about the head flattening thing though! Maybe she’s trying to beg for a treat instead?

Stickers does that head thing too – she’ll flatten out like “groom me!” then run away, or push me away, or get all huffy. I found out with her it’s because I am doing it wrong, sometimes she wants body pets, sometimes she wants ear pets, sometimes she wants face pets and I have to guess which one or I get “DUMB SLAVE!” treatment.
