His nose isn’t running anymore.  His eye is clear now.   The penicillin  shot was a good idea after all.   He ran a little bit last nite.  Spun in the air too.

I am still giving him baytril and drops in his nose n eye 2x a day.   Then he will get penG shots for 2 more weeks.  Hopefully this is knocking that stuff out.

The vet may sedate him to flush his ducts out.  Depends on how Cotton does.  If he is well then there will be no need.

All the vibes n prayers are helping thank you everyone.

That’s great BT! It seems penicillin has been the miracle drug for Cotton.

Do you think its possible the symptoms that have showed up lately could still be related to the syph? He never did have they typical symptoms of that infection.

Thank you.     He darted around the living room last nite.   A little bit.  He came flying and jumped on me.

HE is starting to get feisty when I give him his meds.  He has had enuf it sees.   I wonder if switching to pennG and discontinueing the baytril wil be ok.

Will find out thursday.   The vet sounded like he was going to sedate Cotton flush his ducts out by his eye and since he will be sedated get an xray without Cotton wiggling and squirming around.

I am not sure if he is breathing out of both nostrils.   The thread trick didn’t work.

The vet said we are treating it as upper respitory until proven otherwise.   It is possible could be the syph trying to come back.  Inside his nose.  The outside of his nose looks fine.

With that PennG shot he looked better right away.
