So we went home (to my parents house) for Thanksgiving last night 11/23 and ever since Clay hasn’t pooped but twice. He is eating hay and is running around like normal. He seems to be fine and his belly isn’t tender to touch, also his litter box has pee in it but no poop. Not sure what to do, no real vets here at all. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Sorry if I’ve got this wrong. You’re currently at your parents with Clay?

It might be that he’s not relaxed enough yet to go. Is he enclosed in a cage or pen? Are there other pets there? I think creating an environment that’s most like his setup at home would help.

Is he drinking much. Getting more fluids into him wouldn’t hurt. His running about and eating are good signs. You might find he’s going to unload all at once!

I’d offer him a bowl of wet leafy greens.
