So I went out of town for a night, and this is what I came home to…

The friend who came to feed and play with her said it wasn’t there when they were here at 10pm last night. So this is from the last 12 hours or so.

What the hell is going on?!

Was she cold? Bored? Angry? false pregnancy?

What should I do? Clean it up? Leave it in case it is her nest, I don’t want to stress her out by getting rid of it.

I am not overly happy about the ruined door, but I am just worried about Chips….

Is there a chance she’s pregnant? Has she been around another rabbit within the past 30-35 days?

Looks like a nest – pregnancy or false pregnancy? If it is either, it is the late stages since they don’t fur pull until they are almost done.

Argh, I guess it must be false pregnancy…she hasn’t been around any other rabbits at all.

If it is a false pregnancy, what should I do??!?!? Do I leave the mess so I don’t stress her out even more?
              Do I clean it up?
Should I give her anything or do anything to help her?

Not a happy bunny mummy this morning m><m

Best thing to do is get her spayed, otherwise she’ll just keep repeating this over and over agin.

Yeah I am planning on getting her spayed. It is just a case of finding a vet and a translator.

I really just want to know what I should do NOW. Or if there is anything I can do to make things easier for her etc.

Not much to do now. You can leave the nest. Within a few days or a week this will pass.

When I first got Nava the first few years she did something similar. Her past owner said she had a still born littler and since then she would have false pregnancies. After a while it just stopped.

I’d leave the nest, but trim off those pulled pieces from the door to lessen the progress in the shredding. You could also lean a piece of thick, clear acrylic sheet (sold in hardware stores) against the painted door to keep her from pulling it off more. I used to block off bookcase bottom shelves with it, since it is sold in wide, tall sheets and is clear so looks fine.
False pregnancy: time for the spay appointment.
