Will it kill him?! I put it at the top of the neck and he licked a little of it. I don’t know if it’s his normal under the fur skin color but after he cleaned himself the hair at the top is kinda spiked up and the skin is pink. He’s hopping around (I think happy? It looks like normal binking). I’m kinda freaking out! Is he okay?

When you apply the flea stuff, you need to make sure it is in a spot on the neck they can’t reach to lick. Or, hold onto your bun, either normally or wrapped in a towel, until it dries so he can’t lick it off before it does its job.

Thank you I’ll do that. Should I pat some of it off?

No, you need the whole dosage. Let it air dry.

                Is he still OK today?
Might want to check out their website to see if they give advice on what to do if your pet licks it. I imagine it’s a very common problem. They might not mention rabbits, but see if they give any advice regarding kittens. I’m guessing that it’s not toxic.

It’s a nerve toxin that attacks the fleas, but generally it’s not enough of the toxin to effect an animal the size of a rabbit. My dogs used to lick a little of it off each other when we applied it and it’s for use of rabbits who do groom each other, so he should be fine.

No worries, he’s doing great! Baytril is making him tired but besides that, fleas are gone, haven’t seen him itch at all and he’s eating and drinking like always!! ^_^

When mine got that as a treatment for ear mites he licked a little of it by rubbing it with his foot and licking his foot, but he was fine.
