So, my Husband and I took Ralphy over to the vet and the doctor instantly knew just by looking at him and cementing my fears that he has Snuffles. The doctor prescribed him Baytril and they also flushed out his eyes to make sure his upper respiratory infection wouldn’t reach his eyes. He was very knowledgable about rabbits which helped comfort me a lot. He told me to take out the water bottle and the laminate flooring since the bacteria would be on it so I’m using care fresh for the next two weeks then I’m gonna put in new laminate floors IF he gets better. The doctor said he hopes the antibiotics will kill whatever is in him but said it might be unlikely, so I am going to put Ralphy on some insurance because the culture tests are quite expensive. They were nice enough to give me a free flea and tick remover since I told him the cat has fleas. I then went and got Ralphy a huge stack of Orchard Hay. Only $5!
