my rabbits eat everything from curtain to plaster on the wall. I provided them with heaps of toys however most of them are short lived. They destroyed their chewing toys as early as two days. I havent neuter them yet as they are still quite small. I just concern about their health as the amount of fabric, plasters and papers they consumed is quite significant. Any advice plz?

It can affect their health, yes. If you allow them access to stuff that isn’t good for them to eat, it could cause a blockage in their digestive tract, which could kill them.

Keep an eye on them, and bunny proof, block access to things they shouldn’t nibble until they have learned not to chew everything.

I have one I worry about this a little. He nibbles at lots of things. I think it’s a teenager phase and am hoping he’ll grow out of it. One thing I find helps is putting out new hay for him often. He loves hay and it distracts him and gives him something to chew on.

I’m also going to fix down some safe wood down in the pen area for him to chew on. The problem with chew toys is they move around too easy. It seems the rabbits like wall corners, skirting boards, carpet etc because they’re anchored.

Maybe some of the things I’m trying will work for you too.

Indeed, hay is a great distraction for chewers – Stickers will chew anything she can get her teeth on unless hay is out (in the room she’s in, she won’t go back to her room to eat the hay there). It also helps them digest things that maybe they shouldn’t eat. You should try to block access to the things he won’t leave alone though as too much will cause him digestion issues eventually.
