I think my rabbit is starting to get lonley…I am not allowed to get another rabbit. I am gone during the day all week, weekends off. When i get home on a  weeknight i do spend about 2-3 hours with him outside of his cage. On weekends he gets all day outside of his cage besides at night. I have bought many toys and they do not keep him occupied while im gone. Any suggestions?

If you have advice…PLEASE REPLY!!  thx.

He most likely sleeps all day and is just fine.

My rabbit enjoys her stuffed rabbit companion. There was much humping at first, but eventually she was grooming her, (sometimes) pulling her over to the food, sleeping by her, ect. They have some snazzy looking surrogates on the BB Store.

I’m always worried as well that my lovebuns are bored, but to remedy this I just spend as much time w/ them when I get homee! I work full time, so when I get back it’s kinda late, but I use my laptop sitting in their pen, i read there, etc

Rabbits tend to sleep a lot during the day – to make this point I am home all day with my buns, but they spend from about 10am to 5pm in their closet sleeping and ignoring me. lol Your schedule sounds fine.

Good! I’m glad he is cuddling with the buddy.

My rabbit sleeps during the day, and my work shifts tend to be during the afternoon/night. I’m glad it works out!

Rabbits are awake in early mornings and late at night. If you want to give him a little more exercise you could let him out in the morning before you leave for a few hours and then when you get home. I am sure he will be just fine.

I agree with everyone, sounds just fine. Actually if you have a very strong bond with your bunny it might not be a solution to get another one anyway. My bunnies can get jealous of each other and bonding them to each other can be stressful.

Rabbits definitely sleep all day, so don’t worry! When I was unemployed and home all day, they completely ignored me anyway and only came out at their standard morning and evening times.
