Hey guys and gals,

My little Netherland Dwarf slowly but surely stopped eating/drinking and using her litterbox over the weekend.  I skipped all of my classes and meetings today to take her to the emergency veterinary.  After a $107 emergency fee and $300 deposit, she was awarded a night (or two or three, etc.) stay.  They said she will receive full physical checks, x-rays, ultrasounds, and anything else in order to find the problem.  I can't lose my little girl, so please send your good thoughts her way.

Thanks!

Get well diva!!!
What weighs 35 tonnes, has four fuzzy ears and is 80 million years old? Two rabbits riding a brontosaurus.

They called me today. She has "sludge" built up in her bladder. She refuses to eat any type of hay or greens, making herself strictly a pellet bunny. He said this can lead to the bunny not drinking enough water, causing them to become dehydrated, and building up this sludge. He said they will be force feeding her again tonight and might have to try to flush the sludge out tomorrow.

I just want me little girl healthy and back in my room. I never realized how much I glance at her cage until she wasn't there anymore.

I'm sending you healing vibes for her recovery.
{{{{{{{{{Get well, Diva.}}}}}}}}}}}

And if she makes the recovery we want, we are moving your post OUT of the Rainbow Bridge section and into the Q&A, where it belongs while she gets better and back home with you.

I'm sorry if it is in the wrong section.  Since it was more of a "support" request during rough times worrying about my little girl rather than a question, I figured this section was a good fit.

Rainbow Bridge section is usually reserved for our furry friends that have passed on.

Hope Diva pulls through!
