        Hey Guys!

I noticed two dats ago that Thane looked like he had a bit of blood on his fur beside his left testicle. He wouldn’t let me check him, so I let him go, he didn’t seem uncomfortable. I picked him up today and pushed his left testicle to the side and I don’t think what I saw was normal. It looked like, what I can best describe as a muscle and some small red veins. There’s no fur here at all and I don’t know if it’s normal. Can you even push a testicle out of the way?

The testicles aren’t hanging or anything, and he doesn’t mind me moving them about. I called the vet, she says it’s weird and I’m taking him in for a check today.

        Any thoughts?!!

I shall do, it’s so bizzare! Also want to get some cultures done as he consistantly sneezes.

I would be sure to write down everything you think would be important before you go. Foods consumed recently, symptoms and so on. You’d be surprised how easily some things are forgotten when you need to remember.

Turns out it’s just thin skin behind his testicle. However, he has a severe infection in his penis and anus. He’s a very very sick bunny.

I’m glad you went to the vet. It makes sense though that it was an infection. Pronounced veins are often a sign of infection, in humans at least. Let us know when he feels better ok?

Ouch! Sounds painful!! It’s a good thing you took him to the vet when you did. What type of treatment did they give you for him?

He is still pretty sick. They put a cone on his head which he did not like! He wasn’t eating or drinking anything. He’s on Metacalm and Baydril. He also has a wash I’ve to clean him with, but I have failed misrebly with it. I’m taking him to the vets tomorrow for a good clean up. Hopefully will help!
