  After messing up my life pretty bad I’ve finally gotten back on track and officially graduated from high school today! Even though the computer crashed in the middle of my exam and I had to quickly copy and paste the whole thing into a word document, the teacher went ahead and graded it for me by hand. I was gonna be SO pissed if I had to re-take that test. Math in NOT my subject! LOL Now it’s off to college for me and it feels really nice to have my head back on straight!

  I think I missed this. Was this your GED? Congrats! I think I would have been upset too if the computer crashed when I was taking an important test.

  LBJ10, it was for my actual diploma. I got kicked out of highschool at the end of my junior year (two years ago) and enrolled in our public school system’s virtual school. I only needed three credits to graduate, it’s just I never put my butt into gear until somewhat recently

  Congratulations! That’s great news!
  I was ill my last three months of high school and had to be home schooled, but my last .5 credits were electives and I didn’t get those finished until almost a year later in junior college. It was so satisfying to finish those and get my ‘sheepskin!’ ^_^
  
  Can you send some of those accomplishment vibes our way? My daughter still has not completed her GED and she also hates math. She’s hoping to find a good (legitimate) online course she can do with her iPad2.

  CONGRATS!!! That is a huge accomplishment! When you’re out of traditional high school and doing it on your own, it can be so hard to stay motivated. But this will prepare you well for college, where there’s no one “looking over your back” and it’s up to YOU to stay on track!
