Can a 5 month supply of Timothy hay/Bluegrass Grass Hay stay fresh if I store it in a dry place?

If not, how much of a supply can I but without it going bad?

        Thanks!!

As long as it doesn’t get damp/wet the hay will last. People store hay for over a year, I have had my bale for 4 months already and I’m not even half way through it and it is still perfectly fine

I just opened a bag that has been here for months.
Check it for mold or discoloration, and a smell. Those are usually the signs that it’s gone bad.

Hay should last at least a year and often longer. It should be checked as Pam indicated.
