        Hey guys!

My bunny is indoors and lives with me in my bedroom (in her gigantic cage and pen that takes up my whole room lol). Anyways, I like to keep my room chilly at night with a window fan and now that it’s cooler outside the window fan is doing a good job. I don’t even know if my bunny is cold or not but when I cuddle with her she seems to enjoy being under the blanket and stuff.

Any ideas for a safe way to give her options to keep herself warm? She’s a shredder so a blanket wouldn’t last long, and no heating pads, since she’s a shredder/chewer. Any possibilities? lol

If its warm enough for you, its warm enough for her Bunnies will be comfortable in lower temperatures than us wimpy humans

Well I’m under my blankets too. I know I worry about her too much but I just wanna make sure that I’m not making her uncomfortable. I’d love to give her an option if she wants to warm up… if somebody has figured something out then let me know 🙂

Do you have a little house she can hide in or burrow in if she needs to?

She has a cardboard box at all times that she sleeps in/destroys. When she destroys it I get her a new one. But because she spends most of her time shredding it or picking it up I don’t have anything inside of it for her. And she has a pen attached to her cage that lets her run around on my carpeted floor for something soft to lay on. Do you guys think the box itself is enough? Or should I figure out something to put in it? I could find old towels but I don’t want to risk her ingesting the threads since she is a shredder/destroyer lol. My rabbit is a one bunny demolition crew haha.

I think that would be fine since it will help keep her out of the drafts. I wouldn’t worry about towels or anything if you feel she is a destructo bunny.

Ok, I’ll just stick with that then. And she is a total destructo bunny. The only thing she enjoys doing is shredding and destroying things and sticking her head into empty tissue boxes and waving them around haha. She’s a total character <3

Animals tolerate cool better then we do. I think heat is a larger concern. I always try to think ‘If I put on a sweater would I be comfortable?’ …But for cool, so long as an there is a way to get out of the breeze (Moving air is more cooling than stagnant) and you are fine without being in a jacket I’d say they are fine.
