My rabbit sunshine lives in my bedroom and since the weather is changing and it is becoming really colder. The temperature of the room is 55 degrees I am wondering if this is ok for her and if not how can I keep her warmer. The furnance does run some?

i think that whatever you can tolerate… she can. rabbits do much better in cooler weather then we do, and cannot tolerate hot at all. good luck, hope this helps somewhat! (also, if you want to keep her warmer, i’d put some blankies or towels in a cardboard box, and let her snuggle into it.)

Are you able to turn on the heat? I usually keep the house at 68-72 degrees. I think your bunny will be fine though, as long as it doesn’t get any colder.

55 seems fine. They have lots of fur for a reason I really enjoy fall and winter not only for its beauty, but because I don’t need to worry about Chacha being too warm.

Like others said, 55 is perfectly fine. If you’re able to live there comfortably, then she’ll be just fine with her fur coat.
