  Well I put a down payment on a bunny and I emailed them Thursday morning to see if I can still take her home next Sunday and they didnt get back to me yet. I also put a call into them and they didnt call me either. So its been two days. Would you keep calling. If not how long would you wait till you email again? They use to email me right away before they had my down payment!!

  Mmm…. I would keep calling. This is a rabbitry isn’t it? Have you visited the place before? Anyone recommended you buy from them or anything like that?
  
  I suppose there could be a legitimate reason as too why they have been delayed. i.e. health emergency with either them or one of the animals. Or if they show their rabbits, they might be busy with that. Though in that case, you’d expect they’d let you know there could be a delay if they had an engagement.

  You need to keep trying to get ahold of them. The other option is that you show up at sometime when you know they’ll be there. One problem with some breeders is it’s just a business/hobby. They’ll sell a bun to anyone with money. So if someone else came along and had the full amount, for all you know they already bought your bunny and have her with them. If that’s the case, you need your money refunded.

  That is sad but that is the case most of time. A friend of mine went to purchase a rabbit for her daughter at a petshop. Said she wanted a female they said here is a female for you. Turns out the rabbit is actually a male. Shows that petstores and breeders don’t care they just want money. They really don’t care about the welfare of the rabbit.

  I would keep calling, give them 24 hours to respond, then call again. A real business should call you back – have you any idea what type of breeder it is? Do they have a good reputation? Or did you just find them via a google search or something?

  Thanks goodness. He got back to me I knew as soon as I posted something on here I would get the call!! He was away on business and came back last night. So I am getting Blossom next Sunday at 11:00

  Disappointed I thought I could pick her up this weekend but she is only 7 weeks old. So Now I have to wait till October 3rd. Oh well thats ok. Gives me more time to prepare for her. I got a great bargin on craigslist on NIC cubes. So im going to be making one of those condos in the next month or so.

  I think that’s a good indication of a good breeder-keeping babies with mom for longer than the minimum Can’t wait for pictures

  Ok getting aggerated again. They email me last Thursday telling me they forgot when i was supose to pick up the bunny and to please email them. So I email them with a couple of days and times and now 5 days later they didnt get back to me yet. Im sorry but when you run a business it should not take 5 days to get back to a customer. My husband said we will just show up this weekend if they do not call me. Mindy
