Do you have a bunny-music playlist?  Remmy and I are still experimenting, but Nicky used to like slow ’80s music.  Another person told me she played classical music for her rabbit, and during my online search I found “healing music” for rabbits (not sure it is a scam or not but here is the link).

What music does your rabbit like?  Any recommendations?

That’s funny because I thought I was the only one who did this! I opened a YouTube account so I could play songs for my buns while they are in the living room for play time.

I first discovered Bindi’s preference a while back: Weird Al Yankovic. Funny choice, I know. My bf is a big Weird Al fan and was playing a mixed CD and Bindi went nuts during a few songs. His favorite is “Hey Ricky” which is a parody of “Hey Mickey”. If he’s in a lazy mood I put it on and he usually perks right up. Bf thought I was crazy until one day Bindi was just sitting around and I put the song on and he went nuts, zooming and binkying. He also likes “Crash” by Matt Willis.

The other day I was listening to “Right Round” by Florida and Olivia did the biggest twisty Binky I’ve ever seen! She seems to enjoy the 80’s songs I play like Madonna and the Bangles.

Stormy is not really a music guy. He hasn’t really shown any preference to any particular type.

Hahaha I actually thought Wilbur was a little weirdo for liking music! She seems to like songs that don’t have a lot of singing but are upbeat, she does binkies (:

Remmy seemed to get really into this version of Bad Apple (instrumental) but not so much the one with singing

I’ve tried; Nothing they like. All I know is Rupert HATES rap and Mikey (The dog) love country. But other than that they are staying quiet about their music preference.
I have heard of bunnies binkying about to certain music -but I haven’t found what works here.

Chacha- Olivia is having fun right now: chinning everything in the living room and chasing the cats. Bunny fun!

LPT, you crack me up! I haven’t done any music tests on Sammy yet. Although, I have been listening to a guided meditation cd that has relaxing new age music after she stops talking. Sammy was disturbed by the voice when it first came on (alerted me that someone was in our living room! Thump) but then she heard it again and it didn’t bother her. I would love to find music that makes her do binkies!

My buns listen to my music practice everyday. One particular likes to hang out by the piano while the other has take to lounging under my bench or seat depending on which instrument I’m on. Neither of them see affected by my horrible playing of the strings or loud bass acoustics; they may even enjoy it a bit.
They do not seem to care when it comes to playing non-live music. Maybe it has to do with the vibrations/acoustics?

My hamsters never cared for my music practice; it seemed to bother them at times by disturbing their sleep.
