  Sammykins has a birthday this week. I decided, due to lack of exact info., that it’s September 1st (nice round number) since she was 8 weeks old when we met on our anniversary, Halloween!
  
  BUT, there’s something about August 28th that had a birthday feel to it. My girl was especially sweet and bouncy yesterday. She played with toys. She was staying close and napping under my chair when I was in it. It just had a sort of “It’s my birthday” feel to the day. So, in lieu of certainty, I am posting that Herself is now a bouncing baby Three Years Old.
  
  I will try to post new pix here later today. Got to go out for now. Be back soon. And yes, I just bought her some fresh Romaine and Carrots with TOPS! Yum!!!!!

  How coincidental, Fiver’s coming home day was the 20th. They are roughly the same age!
  
  Fiver is PMing her an invite to a date nite as we speak. May take him awhile to get there to pick her up though…lolz…..

  I know – at first I really had to count on my fingers and paws to make sure it wasn’t 2, not 3. But Spockie crossed the bridge in Dec. 2007, I started working at the museum the following Feb. and couldn’t get a bunny for 9 months until they put me on full time and I had a place for a new bunny again. That was the beginning of Oct. 2008 and I found her the 31st. Just left the museum after 3 years, so yeah, it’s been that long.
  
  She gave me lots of kisses this morning and did a huge binkie and Bunny 500s. That was at 5AM. Guess I’m a good guy today in her mind. Of course, now she’s napping and I’m….zzzzzzzzz
  
  MM, she is getting her beauty rest in prep. for a date with Fiver. We love our Rex Men.

  She did the cutest thing this morning. We were awakened by a loud neighbor’s truck at 4 AM. She chewed bars to get out, but I wouldn’t let her. About an hour later I heard this scraping but soft sound in her cage. I went to look, but only saw her flannel cloth in a bunch under her willow tent. No sign of Sammy. I didn’t think I had let her out earlier, so I called her name. A little nose poked out from under the flannel under the tent. She had arranged it inside her willow tent, then tunneled under it. Just so cute.
