Just curious! I wonder if anybody’s bunnies sleep in a strange places

Chacha bun enjoys sleeping in the following:

        Her BB cardboard home

        Under her organic apple box

Underneath the dining room table (although it is a glass table, she must think it is quite safe to be underneath it.. lol!)

On her princess chair (I’ve caught her doing this when I came home from work several times..)

        And last but not least..

Underneath my bed (When I let her in my room)

Zeus is a weirdo who likes to sleep out in the open.. so usually on his tiles in his cage, on his tiles in the corner of the living room, or flopped out in the middle of the bathroom floor. .  He also NEVER sleeps on anything soft.  Tiles or linoleum only, thank you very much.

Tillie and Toby just sleep where ever. I bought this really cute cat hut (foam hut with a nice soft pillow) to sleep in and they have yet to step a bunny foot in it I can sometimes find them in their BB Cottage, but the second level doesn’t really provide enough room for them *both* to sleep. I bought a memory foam bath mat for them to sleep on, every once in a while I catch Tillie stretched out on it. I bought them a sheepskin rug and they could care less about it.  Most times they are catching a nap directly in the middle of the game room. Silly bunnies! Everytime I think I need to stop buying something, something else will catch my eye and then I think “oohh I bet they would love that!”

Olive sleeps in her litterbox, in her cardboard box (opened at both ends so she can use it like a tunnel) and on her straw mat.  She also likes to lounge around on the cool front entrance tiles when she’s out and about. Since she isn’t free range without supervision, she rarely sleeps in other locations other than her X pen, though.

I bought Penelope a super soft dog bed for her to sleep in..but instead of sleeping in it, her favorite place to sleep is under it. Silly rabbit!

Powder sleeps under my bed, beside the bed on my side, flopped out on the a/c vent in the bedroom or in front of the fan in his room.

Stickers sleeps either behind her cardboard wall (I leaned a piece of cardboard against the wall to store it until I could get the stuff put up and she liked it so much, it is now her den) or on a computer chair I have in the room she likes to jump up on, or flopped on top of the a/c vent in her room if she’s hot.

Rupert: Any flat surface, including the litter box. I swear he just walks and is like ‘this will do’ and plops down.

Berry has a few favorite places but with both buns we leave their cage door open so they sometimes prefer to stay in there then come out to see us.

Berry likes under the dining table, under the window right in the center, on the kitchen tiles in front of the fridge or dishwasher and Ninja sleeps where ever Berry’s fluffy butt is

what is really cute is that if Berry has not seen my partner in a while she will sleep flopped out by his feet or on his feet.

Both of mine sleep in their maze haven during the day – both on the second level, if they haven’t destroyed too much of the floor.

Otto also loves laying out in the living room by the recliner, either in front of it or behind it. Hannah’s not one for sleeping out in the open so she’ll lay down, but not actually sleep unless she’s in her maze.

Hodari sleeps at the very back of her cage on the bare floor. Sometimes I see her in her willow basket bed (her “twigloo”), but usually she just sits upright in it like a little stuffed toy rather than snuggling down in it to sleep. When she is out of the cage, she prefers to wedge herself between the wall and some piece of furniture. Here she is wedged between the wall and our hamper, one of her favorite places to sleep:

During the day Kay & Winston sleep under one of the chairs in the living room.

However, at night it is a different story. Winston sleeps on the 2nd floor of the bunny condo (multi level cardboard box house) while Kay ( aka: Lady Kay the Protector) sleeps in the center of the living room – just in case she needs to warn us of any “going on’s”.

Wilbur likes to sleep on my back when I’m laying down. She also enjoys looking dead when she’s sleeping

Leopold will never flop outside of the cage. I will let them out and after awhile he will go back in so he can lay down in there. Wooly will stretch out just about anywhere, usually out in the open in their room. I think he just likes the carpet.

In her pen. We have 5 cats. Sure they get along just fine, but I still do not trust them unsupervised. Our one cat has been known to try and play a little too rough with her. Also, I do not trust her unsupervised at all. She is very mischievous and likes to get into things. Her pen is shaped like a narrow-ish pentagon, and she loves to lay out in the “point” of it, where she can watch what is going on in the room, and enjoy the breeze from the front door when it is open. I usually see her flopped out there.

All my girls like to sleep in their condo, under the table, or out in the open on the rug. The weirdest thing is when they sleep out in the middle of the living room, facing me as I sit on the sofa, staring at me…

LOL All those pix are priceless!

Sammy sleeps 1. under her platform in the corner of her pen (she never gets onto the platform, btw) or 2. inside her willow tent. She pulled her fabric piece in there to make a pillow. She’s outgrown her cuddle cups. 3. She calls a cab and sleeps in a small hotel in Key West. She likes her privacy away from the paparazzi for a really good nap.

Pickle sleeps under my bed right at the back where it’s dark, and he feels safe. He completely flops out with his head on the floor, and lets me stroke him!
He also likes to sleep next to something, lightly touching his side. He has two favorites – a pair of fleece pajamas to snuggle up to, or a really thick extension lead cable thing which he loves to lay ON o.O (he doesnt chew it… just likes to lay next to it, weird!)

During the evening time he lays down in the middle of my floor, with his legs stretched out completely behind him at funny angles.

Cady sleeps wherever his lazy bunny butt decides to flop, for some reason at night he likes flopping right in the middle of the floor, sophie usually lays against my bed or bookcase. Together they like flopping in their cardboard hideaway. Apparently when Im not home they take over my bed as well…so pretty much they just sleep where they feel like
