After I gave the rabbits breakfast I went to open their window. I keep a dark sheet tacked over the mini-blinds to keep the sun out of the rabbit room on hot days and the sheet fell down and one of the tacks went flying. I heard a “ping” so I figured it hit one of the condo walls. I looked high and low for a half an hour inside and outside the condos and couldn’t find it. It had to be a flat-headed brass-coloured pin too. I was scared it was in someone’s cage so I had to strip all their cages and shake out their blankets. Yes. I did get pummeled. Trying to take Olivia’s breakfast hay away from her was not easy!!!!  I still didn’t find the stupid thing, which leaves me feeling very unsatisfied but at least I know it’s not in any of their cages. Most likely I swept it out with the hay and litter.

Now I need to find some cute pics on BB to put me in a better mood!

Awe! ((Hugs)) But like you said, at least you know it’s not in any of their cages.

Sigh. I know we are just lowly slaves, but we do deserve some love for cleaning their areas, feeding them, making sure tacks aren’t in their cages, grooming them, and so on. LOL

I hate that feeling. Was it a kind that would stick to a magnet, like paper clips do? If so, you could sort of run your hand with a magnet over the area and it might jump out at you.

            Otherwise, shake out your shoes….
