I would love to see how other BB buns live! Tillie and Toby now share a condo, but are only put in it (actuall in and around it, I put a puppy pen attached to the outside so they have more room and stay out of trouble) at night. Here is their home --

Of course I have to share a few of my babies!!

My son took this one (he is 9) I thought it came out cute!

luvmyhunybuny - Love it! What do you use for a hayrack over the litterbox? Where did you get it and what's it called? |

My bun buns Live in a 2x5 condo that I recently made. They LOVE it. During the day they have a attached xpen and at night they go in the condo. When we bring it home ( this is at our summer house ) They will have the condo with a pen attached at night and free range of my room during the day.

This is their old condo. I really liked it but it was only a 2x 3 1/2 which is WAY to small for two buns.

BTW: Your buns are ADORABLE! Eeeeeaaaaaa! |

Lintini -- Thanks on the color. I just painted it and for the record I will *never* do red again. I LOVE the color, but it took 3 coats and I have a huge game room. I thought I would never get done!! And I am giggling because you can see where Tillie tasted my wall! I had the containers side by side and she jumped up there and did some nibbling. Bad bunny!! Lashkay -- my hubby made the hayrack Mocha -- I love that condo!! I am thinking of fostering a bun and that would work perfect in our study! Did it take you a while to build it? |

luv, did you use a tinted primer first? Often that makes for less coats needed (I used to do painting for a living ) Looks awesome! I'll have to take recent pics of the girls area soon |

Lintini - Thanks for the link to Leith Petwerks hay rack, that would do nicely! luvmyhunybuny - Your husband did a fantastic job on the hayrack - he could sell those commercially I'm sure without any trouble! Mocha - Love your condo - so neat and elegant! |

Monkeybun~ Ha! Funny you asked!! We used Valspar paint and bought 2 gallons. We went back to buy more and the girl offered us the paint with the tinted primer already mixed in (now she tells us!). It worked great (cut down part of my job to 2 coats) except you could see where we used the paint without the primer. Sooo, had to go back and paint over that!! ggrr! |

Nice! I would love to add that to the habitat gallery http://binkybunny.com/BUNNYINFO/Rab...fault.aspx and Mocha, I really like your new habitat. My only worry is that the top cube panes look like they are teetering a bit over. I would be afraid that if your bunnies leaned on it, it would be too unstable. Maybe it's just the way it looks in the photo? Other than that, it is beautiful and I would like to add it to the gallery too. |

BB: this pic was taken before the bunnies moved in the condo so the grids you see that look loose is a door. I just forgot to bring my dog leash clips with to clip it shut. I don't use that door any more, I could give you an updated picture if you wanted. |

My buns don't have a cage. Your area looks so CLEAN! Did you just do a scrub down for the pic, or are your buns that neat? If they are, can they come over to my house and teach my two? Every time I clean, two minutes later I have shredded paper thrown about the house again...lol Nice habitats |

luvmyhunybuny, your husband did a great job on your hay rack, you should sell some on ebay!!! I'd buy a few! I can only pester my dad for one thing at a time, right now it's going to be for my aquarium stand... hehe |

BB, add away! Stickerbunny - I had straightened it up prior to the pic, but it pretty much stays that way. They are too busy in other areas of the game room, making a mess. I should take a pic in the morning, after they have been penned up all night! Lintini - I might have him make a few and see how they do on ebay, that is if I can pull him away from work long enough. My husband is a workaholic!! Ugh! |

Wow, my house is NOT that clean. I'm still waiting for my bunny condo parts to arrive from Amazon, until then Rosy is just in a big wire-and-plastic rabbit cage. Of course she gets the run of the living room until bedtime.
By the way, I think Tillie is the cutest bunny I've ever seen. She looks like a stuffed animal

Tribun~ Most days my house is not either! I am just overly anal about the buns area. They must watch me and think "there goes that crazy woman again, "messing" up our stuff!" Tillie is the black bun, Toby the white/tri color. And while I think both my buns are so very cute, Toby wins in the looks department. He is just a handsome, huggable, fluffy boy!! |

Whoops . I don't know how I got the impression Tillie was the white one. Thanks for the correction, you obviously knew what I meant
By the way, I just found your "fostering" post about Toby. Has Tille been spayed yet? I kind of have the same situation going with a neutered male and an intact female. Your buns seem to be pretty happy together.

Chacha lives here.. sorry for the mess.
She isn't put in anymore, so she is free to come and go as she pleases.

I have 2 containers (one is only pictured) of hay on the left side. I got rid of that icky wheat grass on the right, and used the pot to re-grow some. I have 7 pots of wheat grass growing for her highness.

Tribun~ No, Tillie is not fixed yet (she goes tomorrow) and they bonded beautifully (and easily ... I got lucky!). They are very happy together! But, they did it on their terms, not mine. I posted about in the bonding section. LoveChaCha~ I love that pot! Tooo cute!! I grow wheat grass for the buns and piggies, too. They love it! |

Arthur just got an upgrade to his condo! The bottom floor used to have a spare piece of rug under it with a sheet over it and raggity carpet tiles on the top. Now he has laminate flooring underneath (adhesive tiles stuck to a piece of wood) and nice new carpet tiles upstairs (also on a piece of wood) and he got new toys and a new and BIGGER litterbox for outside in the living room. He does well with change. He was a little weary of the laminate (he slipped a bit) but was able to learn to walk on it and gain control. He seems to really enjoy the changes upstairs and his litter box habits seemed to have picked back up again (he was having some issues). Within 10 minutes of the fixes, he was flopped inside, hanging out. When I layed on the floor he ran out and started kissing me as if to say, "Thanks mom!" I will get some pictures up as soon as I can. |

Here's Arthur's updated condo: new flooring, roof, and new toys. He hangs out near the tank (saltwater) and pre-roof he used to periscope and look at his fishy neighbors. He has an "Ocean View Condo" and you can hear the sound of the ocean (washing machine) pretty much every day. LOL The door in the back is our bedroom and if you lay on the far side of the bed you can see the condo and sometimes he is looking back at you, staring as if to say, "Hey get up!"

Arthur's Mom~ That is a cute condo. Is the area to the back a shelf? I am needing to build something for my foster bun (when I get one) and I have a bunch of cubes to build something. What did you use for flooring? |

It's two floors. The first floor is 28" wide and 42" long. The second floor is 28" x 28". 3 of the NIC panels serve as the subfloor with an opening on the back left hand corner. The floors are plywood. It was 12.00 for a huge sheet and Lowes didn't even charge to cut it. The bottom floor is covered with linoleum tiles that were .28 each and 9 of them covered it. The top floor is carpet tiles I bought for 2.00 each at Family Dollar. He seems to be really enjoying it! |

When you get a chance can you take a few more pics of it? I am in the process of building a cage for my foster bun and your idea would work perfect! What is holding the second floor up? Is there a ramp? |
