The Animal Rescue Site is having a 'shelter challenge' . You can go to the site and vote for your favorite shelter (one vote per day). The prizes range from a $10,000 grant for a grand prize winner down to $1,000 grants for the top vote getting shelter in each state. Currently The House Rabbit Society in Richmond CA is in the top ten nationwide and Zooh Corner in San Gabriel, CA is in the top ten in CA. I got an email from the HRS last week, asking me to vote for the House Rabbit Society in Chesterfield, MO. That's the St. Louis Chapter. They have had a difficult year, with high medical bills and a large number of rabbits that they are caring for. You can vote once a day at the Animal Rescue Site until December 18.
