I had given up hope of it ever happening.  She is going on five months old and her ear has stuck straight up ever since I got her.  I woke up this morning and bam! a floppy ear!  I moved her to  her new x-pen yesterday and I guess this was her way of rewarding me.

        After:

Chillin’ on top of her Cottontail Cottage in her new x-pen!

Ha ha! That’s ear-floppin’ good news – that you got her a cottontail cottage! Thanks for sharing. She is cute as ever. Ear up or down, enjoy your new cottontail cottage, Fudge!

Awww, but the ear up was sooo cute! I got Tillie a Cottontail Cottage and she has yet to even explore the second level, never mind the 3rd!

Aww, she’s adorable! I think she was just as adorable with the one ear up.

Does she still have control of it? Since it was up for so long I would guess that she could have partial control of it and still be able to put it up when alert.

I love helicopter buns… it’s a little bit sad that it flopped… (but I am partial to uppy-eared rabbits anyways, so I think it’s the best of both worlds…)

Either way, she is such a cute bun!

I liked the propeller ears, too, but she’s adorable either way. I’m sure you were quite surprised to see the change.

She can lift the ear up slightly, but nothing like before and she’s doing it less and less. I’ve always wanted a lop ear bunny, so though she was cute both ways, I love the lop look. She has already destroyed her cottotail cottage .

The ear falls?!!?? We have a long hair lop ear, and I thought he just had a stupid ear Oo. I didnt know that it fell, does it always? Or does it sometimes stay up. Its cool to know that its semi-normal? Although at first I was worried we had a deformed rabbit ear, I kind of like it now. Gives him character.

Lol at helicopter bunnies, I should have named him chopper haha.

That would have been a cute name!  The ears don’t always fall, sometimes one will stay upright or semi-upright.  All of the bunnies in Fudge’s litter had propeller ears.
