I am about at my wit’s end trying to find a drip-proof water bottle - I have tried Lixit, Oasis,Marshalls, you name it with no luck -  that attaches securely and long-term to my bunny’s x-pen wire.  Since the x-pen was created for dog’s in mind, I guess, I have been using a crock water station for my bunny but I fear he doesn’t get enough water to keep him hydrated due to being turned off by debris (hair, dust,  poops, anything) settling on the surface in his water bowl.  So I am seeking to supplement him  with water out of a bottle, but it seems no one has invented one that can be used well on the spaced out wire of animal exercise pens, that they’re all intended for closely spaced cage wire.  And we who love giving our bunnies the freedom of space of an x-pen are left high and dry. Cages aren’t usually acceptable large enough options for keeping rabbits in but they’re all that any water bottle I’ve ever seen, are created for..  I’d be willing to MAKE a water bottle bracket if someone can show me how. Has anyone had a good experience with finding an available drip-proof water bottle that can repeatedly be clipped, hung, screwed on or other onto their x-pen that supplies ample water to their pets?  Thanks so much for any help!

I just use the basic petstore water bottle with the bent metal bracket and it fits on the xpen fine. The metal arms with the hooks are somewhat pliable, so they can be spaced out as needed. Do you have any pics to describe the problem you’re having?

My plastic superpet waterbottles attach to the x-pen with a long spring and clips on each end- it provides stretch and the bottles don’t leak.

Thanks, Beka and KatnipCrzy for your advice. My exercise pens are dig-it x-pens and I don’t know if the spacing of the wire is different from yours. Anyhow, it’s good to have something to go on. I’ll keep you posted….
