I have a holland lop bunny, Fudge, who I’m guessing is around 3-4 months old.  She was having excessive cecotropes every morning that would end up trampled all over her cage and caked in her fur.   She has been eating Oxbow bunny basics 15/23, unlimited.  She also has unlimited hay, various types.  I haven’t given her any veggies or treats yet due to her age.  I cut her down to a tablespoon of pellets in the morning and a tablespoon in the afternoon.  This took care of the problem immediately.  Do you think this is enough pellets for her?  I know babies are supposed to have an unlimited amount.  Should I gradually try to increase the amount?

Try switching her to the timothy pellets – the basics. Perhaps the alfalfa ones are just too rich for her.

I will try that. I already have some for my older bun. Thanks!

Thats the same exact thing that happened to me… I just had to feed her less pellets and it was hard at first but just make sure they have enough hay and water
