I’m going to contactt the expert that sent me to them later but they are closed for now so I am kind of anxious but am ok with waiting I guess lol…. The results from the lab says “Mixed flora Sm#” I have no idea what that might be o_o My bunny has been having nasal discharge and sneezing now.

Could you be more specific? Did you take your bunny to a vet because your bun was sneezing?

I took my bunny to get a nasal swab because of nasal discharge, but right after he got that swab he started sneezing. So it is mostly for nasal discharge and sneezing. The nasal discharge is clear.

The results are not very specific are they. I doubt it will help your vet much. He/She might put your rabbit on a broad specturm antibiotic. Baytril is most common. They could do this without the swab anyway.

It’s good you’ve got straight onto this so things don’t develop further. Clear discharge is better then opaque/coloured.

Some rabbits can react to enviromental things too, so look over what you’re using to check it’s not caused by that. Litter, dust, hay dust etc.

I’m lost!! Did the results go to you instead of a vet? Or you got results early or something?

I think Jers has got it on the head-sounds like even though they are lab results, which could be hard to read except to a vet, that it’s not very specific. Well-keep us posted!!
