Ellesbietka died of unknown causes.
This morning she was just gone. Like she was sleeping. Just like my bunny Rowan who I 'rescued' from a filthy, icky pet store.
I only had her for a few months after rescuing her from a horrid situation. I guess her body was never able to fully recover. I am sure she probably had internal damage that could not be repaired from living with parasites for so long.
At least I know she lived a wonderful life- and her last months were her absolute best.
RIP my girl. I loved you from the moment I laid eyes on you.

I tried so hard to do best by her... it's really tough.
Just have to move on and think positive... I have to remember that if I had not taken her out of that situation, she would have never gotten to experience real love, real care, and a real home.

oh, that is so sad, but you were able to give her a wonderful life no matter how short it was and she died knowing how much she was loved, you were a good bunny slave. I lit a candle in her memory http://www.gratefulness.org/candles...d=13456277 Binky Free Elles,

I'm so sorry for your loss. At least she seemed to die peacefully...and loved. Thank you for rescuing her and giving her kindness and love during the time she had left. When bunnies are stuck in terrible situations having to to deal with stress, neglect and malnutrition, it can certainly create internal problems that could shorten their lives. How lucky was she to be saved and live out the rest of her days with you.
