How old is he? Lops are not born with loppy ears, their ears do fall. I suspect that is what is going on. There are also bunnies that I consider “Flop or Nots” which are lop bunnies that can put their ears up right but they can also fall down or stay in sort of a horizontal “airplane” ear position.

Now if his head is little lop-sided too, or if he scratches constantly at his ears or his ears are sensitive to the touch (injury from previous handling), then that is cause for concern.

Are both his ears off to one side?

hahaha Huckleberry – perhaps we could create a book?!

He’s about two months old. His ear sometimes attempts to go on the other side, but it doesnt naturally fall and kind of stays mid air, doesnt look comfortable. Should i take him to the vet?

Can you move his ear back to the other side? It looks like the “attachment” is off, but I’m not sure from the pic. Do you have other pics of him from different angles?

I’ve seen this happen in young Flemish as their ears are growing. However, it’s possible that it’s caused by mites or another ear issue and isn’t supposed to be like that. I would take him to the vet and find out. Generally the ears should stay on their own side of the head.

OK, So came home the other day and his ear was hanging normally!!  My boyfriend told me the night before he moved it gently to the other side and it seems to be normal again, so perhaps it was “detached” as Beka suggested above?  or a thing that comes with age?

As you can see below he looks much better and his ears look fine.

                      He’s really adorable.
If you have never taken him to the vet you want to do that once to establish him and get a good overall baseline check-up. While doing that, tell the vet about this and bring the pix to show how he looked before. Vets examine ears routinely, but you want the vet to be on the lookout in case there was more to it.
Check to see if he is sensitive to the touch on that ear, or if he’s fine now.
