So yesterday me and my boyfriend re-arranged my room to make more room for cady to run around and what not…well he was eating his hay, but barely went to his cage…also its not easier for him to get up on the bed and with that its very difficult to get him down I have no problem with him being up there except he had an accident, or not so accident and peed on my bed…is this just him adjusting to the new set up? also Im wondering if he smells the new rabbit and me because he has been acting much sweeter, even woke me up with kisses this morning   just not really sure…

Unfortunately, it’s very common for rabbits to mark human beds. They just can’t resist marking over our smell sometimes!

Bunnies will react differently to change, depending on their age and temperament. Basically they are creatures of habit who can adjust well when necessary. A change of more space to run and play is usually handled well. Changes in smells will result in the marking you’ve had already, so they can be sure EVERYONE knows it’s THEIR turf. In case you were wondering. If he woke you with kisses and is much sweeter, he likes the change.

Sammy has done more binkies in this new house in just a couple of weeks than in all of the past several months.

If there are places you want him to still be able to reach, you can construct ramps or use little steps to help him climb up.

lol I just read my post and realized how many typs there were… he can get up on my bed with no problem now and seems to enjoy it, even slept at my feet.  he does seem happy I was worried because he didnt eat his green right away like normal but I think he was just too excited.  I also this part of the reason hes been sweeter is because he smells the new bunny on me which I think he likes the smell….

Honestly, she just pretty much stopped. It was when she was little, before she was completely potty trained. I would put a blanket in her area, let her sleep on it a few nights, then put it over my bed. That seemed to stop her.
