Samson likes to sit on top of his cage, so I put a cardboard pizza box over the top and some hay up there. Well with the hay, it becomes a litterbox I guess, complete with tons of poop and pee. So when I replaced the box, I didn’t put hay and now theres just a few poops up there. Should I go ahead and put another litter box up there since he seemed to enjoy it as his hang out?

Also, I just got is Mini Haven, (Thanks BB!), should I worry about him peeing on the cardboard??

Might as well put a litter box there – can’t hurt. I know Hannah will pee anywhere there’s hay, so that’s pretty common (unfortunately she drags hay all over the cage just so she can pee on it. Haha)
