Hi there my mom went to a local green house and bought my bunnies to italian parsley plants. I was wondering if these were ok to give to my bunnies?

Totally-and best of all they’ll be lovely fresh if you grow them yourself!

I have about a bajillion wild rabbits living in my yard, and I was searching the internet for rabbit-proof annuals (Last year only my impatiens in containers survived.  The ones in the ground and all other flowers in the ground and containers were gone by early June!)  One of the sites said that rabbits don’t eat PARSLEY!

I know rabbits eat parsley because i buy it in the store for my buns all the time. I didn’t know if you could feed parsley that you buy at the green house or if you had to grow it yourself?

I’m sorry that the seedlings you got last year didn’t survive, but maybe you’ll have better luck this year with the plants your mother got. Lol, Lagomorphic. I don’t think I’d trust that site much; they sure ain’t up to snuff about their bunny edibles. We’re planting a garden for Hodari and I am wondering how to keep the neighborhood cottontails away. We have two little cottontails living under our storage buildings. It goes without saying that they are adorable, but they will definitely be less adorable with mouthfuls of her turnip greens!

                        Look for organic produce.
