I can’t tell you much except my first dog had it. Why are you asking? What symptoms does your rabbit have? Hind end weakness could be neuro or have other causes as well. Has your vet made this diagnosis?

Yes my bunny has hind end weakness. He has had it for about a year. My vet and another vet determined it is cancerous tumour on his spine. I was reading a book and it had spondylosis. It sounded like my bun and I can’t find alot of information on it. So I was wanting to talk to other people who have gone through it. He is on metacam twice a day. thanks

Here’s a post on this from Dana Krempels and I would suggest you can email her as well – she’s extremely knowledgeable:

                  I found this very good article(s) as well – it’s 4 parts:

                  http://www.hrschicago.org/articleslay.html

The first part is about sponylosis.

Thanks I went to the vet today and she looked at the xray again she determined that it wasn’t spondylosis. She also confirmed that he does have fur mites and is treating him for that. She said she couldn’t believe how well kamdyn is doing she said you would never know he has cancer. He looks so healthy. Thanks again

That’s great that he is doing so well under the circumstances. Obviously having such a great human in his life who cares so much for him makes his life much better.
