Abby has been shedding really bad and I just can’t seem to find a good brush or comb to use.  I have a flea comb which seems to work the best out of what I have tried but it still only gets a VERY small amount of hair off her.  I also have a slicker brush and one with the back side has these little rubber grippers on it.  Neither seem to get the hair off of her.  You can still see loose fur on her back.  She seems to have a very fine and silky fur any every time you pet her the fur flies.  Any suggestions?

I’ve always liked the Hair Buster comb, which sounds like the one with the rubber grips so you might have it already. You also can try wetting your hands and wiping her down and then taking the fur off your hands. The thing with shedding is that it is important to brush very frequently, and it just keeps coming for up to a month, but you ARE helping and getting it off of her. Otherwise, she may ingest too much of it and get a blockage. It’ll be over soon – hang in there.

I actually haven’t tried one like that. The brush I have is a slicker on one side and the other side has little rubber nubs on it that grab loose fur. Doesn’t work at all. I just hate wasting money on different combs. I try to run the flea comb over her everyday. With a BIG bunny there is LOTS of fur! =)
