My new bunny, who I’ve had for about a week, has about 4 little scabs under her fur. They’re really really tiny, and I can’t really “see” them, I just feel them in her fur when I’m holding her. They’re on different parts of her body, ones on her back, sides (2 on her sides), one near her ear, and one on her neck. They are obviously little scabs, not a rash or mites (I think).

Could they be just from the other bunnies at the pet shop nipping her? I can’t think of any other reason.

It could be from fighting. I got Eddie from a pet store and he had a scab on his ear from getting into a fight with his cage mate. Whom they had to remove. DUH. lol I’d just keep an eye on her and make sure they don’t get bigger or more form.

Mites was the first thing that come to mind with me.

Mites, fleas, fighting or scratching herself for some reason could cause it- I would keep an eye on her and ask the vet about it when you schedule and take her in for a new pet exam and fecal check.
