I’ve had Bailey since she was 5 weeks old..She just turned 4 months old and today she has been obsessed witih me. She follows me everywhere, nudges my feet for rubs and when I sit on the bean bag she does circes around me and cuddles up to me nudging for more head rubs and won’t stop.

Is this just a phase? Will she stop doing this when I get her fixed? I am really enjoying all the attention but is it temporary?

The following and circles might be hormonal behavior, but the cuddling and begging for head rubs probably isn’t. My Peppy was always a super affectionate bun as well, and I was afraid that she might lose it after her spay, but she’s pretty much just the way she was before . No worries!

Gabby just got her spay staples out a couple days ago and has become even more affectionate with me after the spay. She would let me pet her sometimes before the spay but now seems to let me pet her when I want to as well.

She loves mommy.. in a way that mommy does not love her

I’ve had my Chacha since she was 7 – 8 weeks old and.. when it was her turn to become a hormonal teenage bunny, she honked at me constantly. Some rabbits will continue to honk after they are fixed, some don’t. I have gotten circled once a few months AFTER her spay.. it was pretty darn funny .

Have you looked into a vet for her spay?

She is going to the vet today for a “pre-surgery” visit..and I’m going to find out if I’m right about her being a “girl”

What do you mean by “honk”  Is that what you call the noise she makes that sounds like a grunt when circling me?

                      Yes, that’s a honk! Hopefully she doesn’t start spraying…

I think it sounds more like a grunt too. My daughter gets so tickled when she gets honked at.

They can! Not as common as with boys, but it can happen.

IMO, that’s when the circling stops being “cute”… lol.

Honking sounds like ‘Mmm mmm mm.’ it is really quiet
